Leading Edge Retractables
Leading edge retractables(models with an attached shock absorber pack) are designed for use in applications to provide added protection against lifeline wear and/or cutting, when working near leading edges, where a fall may occur. This could include, but is not limited to, roofing or eaves, sheared, cold rolled, or cut steel, and edge work on concrete and various decking operations. USE CAUTION…..and provide additional protection against cutting (i.e. a heavy pad) over the exposed sharp edge. These units are designed to keep the arresting forces below 900 lbs while at the same time, reducing the amount of impact forces on the lifeline itself.
The new and improved GAP anchor was designed to create versatility when the need to tie off inside the interior of a building or window opening 24 to 51 inches. It includes and optional SRL swivel cradle. (Only a heavy duty edge retractable is allowed to be used in the GAP anchor) The aluminum lightweight system, creates an anchor point that enables the most difficult jobs to get done safely and with confidence.
- Durability: Secure single anchor point utilizing a zinc coated forged D-Bolt Anchor point.
- Adjustability: System is easily adjustable to fit many different door and window openings.
- Versatility: Retractable cradle option (Part # GUA-00380) available with our 360 degree swivel top.
- *Only a Heavy Duty Edge Series or Halo SRL is allowed to be used with the cradle option on the GAP Anchor.
